12 Units of SCB13-1250kVA Dry-Type Transformers for a Food Processing Plant in the Netherlands
Project Overview
HBTP supplied 12 units of SCB13-1250/10 transformers for a large-scale dairy processing and packaging plant in the Netherlands. The project represents a significant deployment in the food processing sector, requiring transformers engineered for reliable operation under demanding conditions.
Project Background
The Netherlands is a major food processing and dairy products exporter. This plant processes over 2 million liters of milk daily into cheese, yogurt, and powdered milk. Food processing requires hygienic equipment, fire-safe electrical installations, and reliable power for refrigeration and continuous processing lines.
Customer Requirements
1250kVA dry-type transformers, 10kV/0.4kV ratio, F1 fire resistance for food processing areas, hygienic enclosure design with smooth surfaces for wash-down, SCB13 efficiency, compliance with EU food safety and Ecodesign regulations.
Our Solution
HBTP supplied its SCB13-series transformers, engineered specifically for food processing applications. The high-quality CRGO silicon steel core with step-lap mitered joints minimizes no-load losses, while copper windings provide enhanced short-circuit withstand capability and long service life.
